Why do you do what you do?

I have always been creative and making, I actually can't think of a time in my life when I wasn't designing or creating something! Hello There Cheeky started when I had just had my first babe and was looking for something to do other than house work (ew.) 

What will never go out of fashion?

A little black dress. They're timeless and a wardrobe staple!

What do you think it means to be a woman today?

Oh this is such a hot topic. In my early years, would have never identified as a feminist. I think this is because it was painted in such an extremest brush. Now i'm in my 30's I wear it proud. We need to be strong and loud to be seen as equal. I am so proud to see that in the handmade community so many strong women making their dreams come true.

Current obsession?

Always obsession - Earrings and colour inspiration. I'm always making, wearing and shopping for earrings; and I'm always thinking, searching and experimenting with colour.

Favourite part of your job?

Owner Maker has so many privileges but the biggest is being able to meet and interact with some many other amazingly inspiring people!

What life skill is rarely taught but extremely useful?

Listen to your gut. You know that niggle when something is off or that leap when you've nailed something? It is ALWAYS right.

A day in the life of?

As in if I had one day in the life of.... who or what would I be/do? I actually wouldn't change a thing! I'm so content with my everything right now.

What’s your favourite colour?

I don't have one surprisingly, and never had. I more have fazes that I float between.

What was your first thought this morning?

Hey... where the coffee at??!! (sung like Nelly)

Best advice you give or have been given.

Be yourself, because everyone else is already taken.
