My 30th is just around the corner and with most birthday's I always do a wardrobe check. This one feels a little bigger than normal though, as I'm now nearly an adult! ðŸ¤
I'm clearly over shoes that don't fit right and clothes that I've had since my uni days. It's time for a wardrobe purge! 👗
Things to remove from your wardrobe
1. Throw out shitty shoes.
Yes, those shoes that you bought and never wore in. Chances are if you haven't worn them now, you'll never wear them. Oh and also those shoes that are falling apart. This is a hard one for me, because I love a comfy shoe, but in the long run they are doing you NO good. If you haven't heard of
Frankie4, do your feet a favour and take a peek at their p
odiatrist & physiotherapist designed footwear.
2. Get rid of short short skirts and looong jackets ( just kidding you can keep your jackets but those skirts have to go.)

At some stage you stop feeling comfortable showing your vagina in public. This happened for me a few years ago, but I'm still holding on to those skirts that you can't bend over in. It's time to get rid of them and replace them with clothing that makes you feel great!Â
3. Clean out your make-up cupboard.

Holding on to your blue eye shadow from high-school? Or just a bronzer from last year? Did you know make-up actually has an expiry. Beauty blog Byrdie reveals the truth about
make-up expiration dates.
4. Anything that’s the wrong size.

Get your Vinnies bin bag ready, it's time to donate. Believe it or not our bodies are constantly changing and so clothes are not always going to fit the way you want them. Don't wear clothes that are too small and don't make you feel amazing. Life is too short, send them onto someone in need.

Things to think about and styles to add to your wardrobe.
1. Buy some essentials.

Every girl needs a little black dress and I just happen to know some really great stylesÂ
inBLACK. Other items to include could be a great pair of flattering jeans, a classic white shirt. A lippy in your favourite colour - to help make every outfit amazing.
2. Wear and buy clothes that make you feel amazing.
This one sounds really easy, but some days you put on clothes that don't make you feel amazing. At inBLACK. we think part of felling amazing is finding a really great fit, being comfortable, fashionable and having clothes that are versatile, so you can add the pop of lippy or the oversized bag. Easy to wear staples should be a must in your wardrobe. Although, there is always room for that one off complicated (need a friend to zip you up) Dress that makes you feel like you are walking on air!
3. Evaluate your style.

What clothes do you end up wearing over and over? Start put together a clear picture of the styles that you love and make you feel good. Now when you go shopping picture this style - this will stop you from buying clothes you only wear once because they really aren't you.
Which pieces make you feel good? If you love it buy both colours.
4. Comfortable and versatile shoes.

Finding great shoes can be hard. My current shoe obsession is with Palmaira Sandals. They are super comfortable and can be worn anywhere! Go bright and bold like these sparkly pink numbers or opt for a plain black or tan, that way you'll know they will go with every outfit.
I'm off to edit my wardrobe - wish me luck. 💖
